A weekend in Wallonia: Liège along the Meuse

From the park, the La Belle Liégeoise footbridge allows you to cross the Meuse on foot or by bike and reach the Guillemins district.

At the end of the walk, the station designed by Santiago Calatrava impresses with its monumental lines, airy structure, and vast perspectives. Even without taking the train, it deserves to be explored as a piece of contemporary architecture.

The streets of the neighborhood also allow you to observe several Art Nouveau and Art Deco facades, witnesses to Liège's urban development around the station.
